Oxymoron

There is a bench on the roof of my house. I am lying down on the bench with my face facing towards the sky and my hands working as a pillow for my head. The time was nearly 5:30 and it is still the bright day but time showing the way to darkness. I turned off the music. The silence of the sky was creating questions. Why, How, When and many more teasing my mind. The white clouds were covering the sky, floating from south to north. The clouds were creating questions. I thought I was investigating the silence of the sky. The birds flying like they were enjoying the evening after having a good day. But the birds were hindering my investigation of silence. I also saw the trees on the top of the hill. Only the upper halves. The clouds were floating, birds were dancing, the sky was silent but there happened a miracle in the sky. Yes, there arrived the moon clearing the white clouds. But the moon was hindered to shine. That was an oxymoron situation between shine and matt. The moon was trying to shine but it was not the time that it could shine; though there was no sun its power was still dominating, the clouds were still trying to disturb. But the time came when birds have found their shelter. Trees on the hilltop were green to dark. Still, I was struggling to see the moon. As my investigation was ongoing, I was thinking that the moon is there changing the position and I am still here seeing it shine and disappear. We both are not seeing each other. And now there came a time when the white cloud changed to dark but I was still struggling to see the moon. I didn't know whether the moon will shine or not, but the hope was still strong. As the moon is waiting for the clouds to get cleared and the sun goes away. I am also here waiting for the same. Our intentions were similar but the time we've got...; the moon can have billions of years to shine and I am here only for some time.

The sudden Thaple

Firstly, the paragraphs accumulate the feelings and memories of my hike to Thaple. The Thaple peak is one of the highest peaks of the Syangja district. Kharsu peak and Thaple peak are of beautiful views from our places. We were raised seeing these peaks. So, it was a desire to be there someday. Though these peaks lie approx. 2050m from sea level and Syangja Bazar lie approx. 870m, being seen nearer but most of the people of Syangja have not been there. It took us all nearly 10 years after we wanted to be here. The peak seems skyscraping and shows people fear walking to the peak, I guess. These days youth from whole Nepal are influenced by the trend of visiting local places and its impact is more scattered by social media. These days Thaple and Kharsu peaks are becoming common hiking destinations for local youth. Between Sataun and Kharshugau We four (Sajan, Sameer Prashant, and me) started our journey from Narayansthan, Syangja. My friends were also very interested to be there as I ...
